Art making a mark

 

Our adventures in Fiji took us to Beqa Island where we collaborated with the village primary school to create art projects about the environment and climate change.  We soon discovered that art is such a powerful tool which bridges language barriers and cultural differences, allowing us to connect with the children and staff in a very positive way.  This day in the village allowed us to get involved and share in a mutual project.  We learnt a lot from the artists, students and teachers and ourselves contributed enthusiasm, new ideas and extra pairs of hands.
