Call for Papers: Developing Global Perspectives in Higher Education - Due 29 April, 2016

NOW CLOSED!

Symposium,  9-10 June 2016 Sydney

Three universities (James Cook, Macquarie and Western Sydney) are joining forces within the Office of Learning and Teaching (OLT) Strategic Priority area “Developing Global Perspectives."

We invite papers or poster presentations which address the following theme:

Developing global perspectives and producing graduates that can live and work in an increasingly connected world are fundamental goals for Australian tertiary education.  Educators seek to increasingly internationalise the curriculum and encourage students to become culturally competent ‘global citizens’: international travel is a crucial ingredient in this internationalisation process. This research symposium explores the latest developments in the field in the design, implementation and embedding of Outbound Mobility Programs (OMPs) or study abroad into the tertiary curriculum.

Deadline for abstracts or posters: 29 April 2016  Word length 150-200 words & 3-10 keywords

Please send abstracts to Dr Tim Hall <t.j.hall@westernsydney.edu.au>
